How did you get involved in bjj?
My older brother Juan started training in a local school and he show me a couple of moves and I really like it, then i got in love with all this gracie legacy and history, royce was my idol, it was love at first sight.
What is you favorite bjj story?
Who are some of the people who have influenced you bjj?
in a more direct way my teachers: Roberto Bitar (Royce Gracie Black Belt), Fredy Sukata, Fernando “Soluco” Di Pierro and my brothers Juan and Sinistro.
What is your favorite position and why?
guard, cause i think I,m flexible i just feel really comfortable.
If you could start training all over again, what would you change in training routine and why?
we just didn’t know how to train at all, i would change everything, not saying it wasn’t fun.
How do you think competition helps your jiujitsu?
It motivates me to train harder.
Who are some people you have beat in competition in the past, in which you are proud of and why?
Dan Simmler, Joao Assis, Jake Mackenzie, Felipe Bueno, Gabriel Kitober. the win over Kitober was special because was the first time i won a fight in the black belt.
How has bjj helped and changed your life?
Jiu – Jitsu its involved in every aspect of my life, i could not think about living with out jiu jitsu.
What do you think is not stressed enough in order to better your game in grappling?
to understand the principles of jiu jitsu more than just learning techniques.
What are your plans for the next 5-10 year?
I would like to be jiu jitsu black belt world champion and to fight in he ufc simple as that.
