My favorite is top half guard, good pressure an attack kimuras an chokes as i wear the guy down from top position.

If you could start training all over again, what would you change in training routine and why?

To be honest i dont think id change anything i love my team and theres never a bad day when you train jiu jitsu i like to keep it all mellow an always have fun while im training thats something ive done these last 13 years.

How do you think competition helps your jiujitsu?

I think it helps your mental understand for live situations an having to adapt techniques when the pressures on, its a new intensity that your not used to if your just familiar with rolling in your academy.

Who are some people you have beat in competition in the past, in which you are proud of and why?

Ive been competeing for 13 years ive beat alot of big names an lost to even more but some of the matches im most proud of an had the most fun with are probably my match with Rumolo Barral, an Fredson Paixao. Two of the best BJJ guys around an coolest dudes aswell.

How has bjj helped and changed your life?

I started so young iver never experienced life without jiu jitsu, its always been a big part of my life, its given me confidence ,discpline, mellow an level headed attitude towards things in life, something i only see in jiu jitsu players.

What do you think is not stressed enough in order to better your game in grappling?

I think something that could be stressed more is drilling an flow rolling, everyone like to roll real hard but i think a few rounds of flow rolling really helps you understand transitions an the way your body moves better.

What are your plans for the next 5-10 year?

My plans would definetly be to have my own academy Stay with Bjj revolution team with my own affliate academy Somewhere here in Socal.

What are three things people may not know about you?

Well for being So much into BJJ an MMA alot of people wouldnt think or know this about me but my favorite Genre of Movie is chick flicks, the Notebook ,A walk to remember , My girl . all that good stuff.
